Smart Organizing Space in a Small apartment
It may seem difficult to organize a small apartment measuring 40 square meters, yet the owners of this small house have succeeded in renovating it in order to make it very functional.
They demolished some structures to get two rooms of equal surface. In one they placed the kitchen with the dining area and a small space-work, while in the other they arranged the bedroom and the bathroom.
It has resulted in a radical change that has greatly improved this interior with a design that has made it more cheerful, personalized, full of accessories such as decorative pillows, paintings, plants, flowers, rugs and other elements with bright colors. The furniture is made of acrylic material.
For walls and floors, neutral tints have been chosen in order to achieve maximum brightness.
We enter the house and, just closed behind us, the front door seems to disappear.
In its place we see a work of art on a black background and a window overlooking the Swan Lake. And it’s already a little magic.
The favorite books always find a place even in the tiniest of the apartments. Here the bookcase is revived by small rainbows in the frame.
But what is that cylindrical shape that overhangs it? A suspension lamp? We’il find out soon.
It is not necessary to have a great study to use the computer and choose the latest photographs taken. Or space is streamlined to the maximum and allows you to work seamlessly using your laptop.
We bet that the door of the closet that you glimpse hides, between the clothes, a printer?
The cheerfulness and joy of living of the owners are reflected in these details of the living corner, which, despite the minimum space, is often imagined frequented by friends with whom every occasion is good to improvise a small party.
Sofa, lamps and much of the furniture take up the white walls to give the maximum light to this living area, already illuminated by many lamps.
The white space is enlivened by the beautiful green lawn of the rug, from the pillows that copy the colors of the flowers in the vase in the foreground and from some other elements in bright colors.
From this part of the house, after having taken a look at the publication on Van Gogh, which speaks to us of the interest in the art of the hosts, we see the kitchen counter and the salad waiting in the dishes!
Here is another view of the dining room, with the counter set for the cheerful meal, between blue and turquoise colored glasses.
We see the details of the kitchen: the three-burner stoves and the sink, content, but functional.
It is played with transparencies to accentuate the brilliant effect that white acrylic furniture gives to this area of the house.
From this angle we finally find out what is the white cylinder we saw before on the bookcase.
It’s a hood, camouflaged very well with the books on the back of the counter.
We move to the sleeping area. All white, as in the other room, for walls and curtains, broken by the bright colors of the linens and small accessories.
The headboard of the bed, simple and in wood color, is surmounted by a painting that accentuates the liveliness of the room.
Note, at the window, the bars in white iron, softened by artistic motifs.
Details of the bedside table. Also white, with removable shelf in contrasting color and decorated with a picture that takes a little the style of those of the bookcase, very colorful and framed of white.
Rather original the idea of night lamps suspended from the ceiling, instead of the usual table lamps or wall lamps. Even here there is no flower pot.
In the bathroom, the shower and sanitary facilities remain hidden from the view and a full-walled mirror makes the room look much larger. The basin is small, square, design, modern.
Also here were used white furniture, pendant lamps and flowers, to resume themes dear to the landlord.
This House is an example of how you can get a nice, lively and functional apartment even when you have little space.
The owners wanted their to be also a cheerful and playful home. It looks like they’ve succeeded!
